About me
My name is Alex, I’ve been a photographer for the best part of 10 years but have been specialising in weddings for about five years now. I initially resisted going into weddings as I come from a background of festival and events photography where many of the photographers saw wedding photography as passé. Fortunately, a good friend of mine persuaded me to shoot their wedding and it completely opened my eyes. I no longer shoot events or festivals; weddings are a thousand times more creative and fun. I find I am really able to express myself and push my abilities to the limits. Every wedding is different and I love the challenge of capturing the essence of your day.
About my style
I describe my style as natural and authentic. My aim is to capture your wedding day the way you experienced it- to capture the feeling of the day. When you look through your photos I want you to be transported back to when it all happened. Read my testimonials to get a good feel for what it’s like to hire me as your photographer.
About you
I am a strong believer that great photography happens when you understand the people on the other side of the lens. If you’d like to talk through the available options, or to see some of my work, I would love to arrange an introduction. It is a wonderful opportunity for us to meet each other. This is a priority for me and don’t charge for an initial meeting, whether on Zoom or in person.
